Popeyes | My First Experience at Araneta City

Araneta City is one of my fave destinations because I could find a lot of things here - shopping malls, two train stations, and a food place that definitely for everyone. So, when I heard that Popeyes officially opened up a new branch at Alimall, I was so excited to try them! Luckily, I witnessed the grand opening last January 3, 2020.

Popeyes started to hit the Philippine food scene last year when they opened up their first-ever restaurant in Arcovia City. Now, they continue to expand more branches to cater to all customers who like to try their famous Cajun-inspired fried chicken and other well-loved dishes. This new branch in Araneta City is great news for peeps like me!

Located in Alimall, this Popeyes branch has an interesting interior design perfect for Instagram feed. The whole space can accommodate a large number of diners. I like the teal and orange colors which is inspired by a 90s cafe set-up.

I used to try Popeyes before when I had a vacation in Singapore but I couldn't remember the taste, honestly. At the event, I tried all their best-sellers like the fried chicken, iconic honey biscuits, fish and shrimp burgers, and Cajun fries. For me, the fried chicken tasted okay, less greasy, but not the type that I would crave for. The honey biscuits and Cajun fries were definitely worth the try. Do you think I'll be back? Yes, but with a condition. I would be back to try other dishes but won't fall in line for hours, though.
