Iron Pan Steakhouse | An Affordable Steakhouse in U-belt Area

If you know me well, I do looove steak - succulent, juicy, and tender. If I can eat it on an everyday basis, I will. But that's too impossible because we all know that steak is quite expensive. So here, let me share with you what I've discovered just recently. One Saturday afternoon, my foodie friend and I went to one of the affordable steak places in the University Belt, the Iron Pan Steakhouse.

Iron Pan Steakhouse serves pocket-friendly dishes suitable for students and budget-conscious. They actually have two branches: Sampaloc and Taguig. The one in U-belt is located on the second floor of a building. It's quite hard for me to locate them but you can ask people around the street since they are familiar with the restaurant.

The space of Iron Pan Steakhouse is somewhat small. Only a few people can fit inside, approximately 16 pax. So imagine during lunch breaks, people are jampacked inside. Thankfully, we went here on a holiday so we had all the space for us. Yass!

Here's the exciting part: Iron Pan Steakhouse offers affordable dishes and we tried some of their best-sellers. Their menu focuses mainly on meats like beef, pork, chicken, and vegetables. They do have dessert and drinks, as well.

Prime Rib Eye (P199)
This one's their best-seller and belongs to the premium section. For me, the serving looked big but I think, the portion of the meat was just 60%. The remaining part was all bone. For the taste, it was okay for its price,  and best paired with their gravy with lots of pepper.

T-bone (P135)
If you have a tight budget, you may skip the premium and get this one. I noticed that the cut was too thin, but yeah, the price is only less than two hundred.

Lechon Kawali (P89)
An affordable classic favorite deep-fried pork, best to be paired with Mang Tomas, vinegar, or their much-loved gravy.

Chicken Cordon Bleu (P89)
Wanna skip pork and beef? I'll recommend this chicken dish. It's crispy and the taste was just right.

Cheesecake Flan (P45)
A simple dessert to cleanse off your palette after eating lots of meat.

If you are going on a food trip in U-belt area, I suggest you need to try Iron Pan Steakhouse. Not only they are affordable, but they would also make your tummy happy. Just be sure not to bring your car as parking might be a problem, as well as they don't have a restroom inside. So, consider these things.
