Monga | Taiwan's Famous Fried Chicken is Now in SM Megamall

I've never been to Taiwan but I heard a lot about this place especially their food like noodles, xiao long bao, stinky tofu, chicken cutlet, and of course milk tea. Thankfully, we no longer need to travel far just to taste those dishes because they've already been franchised here in the Philippines.

Brought to us by Vikings Group, Monga Fried Chicken is one of the latest restaurants that opened up their first store in SM Megamall. Monga is famous in Taiwan for their gigantic fried chicken and milk tea. They have almost 30 branches in that country and several in other parts of the world.

Monga is located near the SM Food court which is very visible to the crowd. Their space can accommodate up to 30 to 50 diners. For you to order food, you'll have to get to the counter where you can see their menu on the screen. Once you have your order, the number will be flashed out on the LED board.

Signature Fried Chicken (Price starts at P159)
Monga's fried chicken has several flavors like the famous Chee-z Signature (cheese & tomato sauce or spiced chili), The King (salt & pepper), Hot Chick (chili), and Taiker (Japanese sauce & seaweed powder). They also offer Monga Nuggets and Monga Crispy Chicken.

Sides (Price starts at P88)
For the sides, they have options like Taiwanese Style Popcorn Chicken, Signature Fries, Signature Fries with Plum Powder, Monga Chicken Wings, Fried Chicken Skin, Fried King Oyster Mushroom, and Fried Broccoli. And since we are so Asian, you can also order an extra rice.

Drinks (Price starts at P100)
Taiwan is really famous for their line of milk teas. Monga's best selling flavors are Black Dragon and Green Dragon. Aside from those, they also have green tea flavored drinks mixed with either Grapefruit, Orange, Milk Foam, and Jasmine. Oolong Tea and Milk Foam Oolong Tea are also available.

For their opening treats, Monga will be having Buy 1 Get 1 promo starting November 6 to 11 on their Signature Fried Chicken. Customers can avail it starting 4pm onwards on November 6 and during mall hours on the other dates. This is valid for dine in and take out but no reservations allowed.
