Gift Cafe | A Christian Themed Cafe in Fairview

Themed restaurants are becoming a trend nowadays since people love taking photos for the sake of Instagram. Personally, I love going to themed cafes and check out why the place deserves to be noticed and as well, indulge with their food offerings.

One cafe that caught my interest is the Gift Cafe located in Fairview, Quezon City. Unlike other cutie patootie cafes out there, Gift Cafe is actually unique for being a Christian theme restaurant. This is my first time seeing a concept centered by faith in God. Thus, GIFT Cafe means God Is Faithful.

The people behind Gift Cafe are mostly Christians. The main inspiration for building this cafe is to provide a venue whenever they need a place for gatherings and special occasions with their church mates. Now, Gift Cafe serves as a place for everyone. It felt cozy and laid-back inside, perfect for meeting, group study, fellowship, or celebration. It has a similarity to a co-working space but a cafe that offers both comfortable ambiance and various food options.

To match their theme, all the displays are faith-centered. There are religious items, inspirational displays, as well as Christian songs on the background. They also have board games which you can use while waiting for your food. Overall, I loved the idea and concept of this cafe.

For the food, they have a few options to choose from: appetizers, sandwiches, pasta, rice meals, desserts, and of course drinks like milk tea, fruit tea, and coffee. We tried the following:

Ham, Egg, and Cheese Sandwich (P120)
A breakfast staple but can eat any time of the day. Their serving is actually good for sharing.

Tapa (P140)
I loved the tapa! It was tender and juicy, and the egg was cooked just the way I wanted it. The only thing I noticed was the rice was not fried. Tapa is always best with fried rice!

Aglio Olio Pasta with Chicken (P180)
I'm a fan of oil-based pasta so I enjoyed eating this dish. It was so good with the chicken on the side. If you like to a little salty, you may add parmesan cheese.

Spaghetti Bolognese (P180)
Among all the dishes that we tried, this was my least favorite. The taste was okay but I think, the sauce needs to be improved to make it more savory.

Beverage (starts at P65)
For drinks, they gotchu covered! They have coffee, milk tea, and fruit teas. I tried their Flat White which was slightly strong. I'd highly recommend it for those coffee-holics! For milk tea lovers, they have different flavors like the usual Okinawa, Matcha, and Taro. If you prefer to be refreshed, you may opt to order any of the fruit tea flavors.

I just learned that Gift Cafe is more than a cafe. They also offer services like travel requirements; flights and Visa assistance, trading services in goods and merchandise, as well as bills payment center and loading station. They are actually a one-stop-shop for everyone! For those living in the north area, you may want to check out this place. I'd highly recommend them plus the staff and owners are extra nice, too.
