Yoshimeatsu | Unlimited Japanese x Korean Experience

One of my favorite places to go for food tripping is Maginhawa. I still remember years ago when my friends and I used to hang out here when restaurants were just starting to bloom. Fast forward today, there are still lots of new food ventures to explore like the newly opened unlimited samgyupsal place named Yoshimeatsu.

Yoshimeatsu has a lot of branches here in Metro Manila but this was actually my first time to try their menu. The name Yoshimeatsu came from Yoshimitsu, a Japanese character and the word meat to describe that they are offering unlimited meat options. Inside the restaurant near the counter, you'll find the Yoshimitsu doll enclosed in a glass case.

I haven't been to any other branches of Yoshimeatsu but here in Maginawa, their restaurant has two floors with 15 tables and 7 seats. They can accommodate a large number of diners, actually, perfect if you are eating with friends or families. Their theme is mostly gold color from their plates, utensils, and even their restroom. Go check it out!

Yoshimeatsu's menu is fusion of Japanese and Korean dishes. They have 19 types of side dishes, 13 items for grilling,  and 5 items for premium grilling.

Side Dishes
Gihan, Buttered kimchi rice, Cheese, Lettuce, Kani salad, Seasoned egg, Aji tamago, Pamuchim, Miso soup, Kimchi, Buta dumplings, Tazukuri, Yoshi ebi maki, California maki, Spicy tuna maki, Kyoto beef roll, Kani tempura, Ebi tempura, and Mashed potato

They offer a lot of side dishes here but mostly I enjoyed the unli cheese, lettuce, miso soup, and their varieties of sushi. What makes them different from other samgyupsal places is that they have sushi here for unlimited.

Sliced beef, Curry beef, Spicy beef yakiniku, Sliced beef yakiniku, Herbed pork, Spicy pork bouquet, Pork intestine, Yangnyeom pork, Sakana tofu, Wiener sausage, Seafood cheeseball, Chicken liver, and Chicken yakitori

Even before, I'm not really a fan of marinated samgyupsal. I'd rather choose the plain ones. For the price, I think their meat options are generally sulit. Everything that we tried was tender. For you to enjoy the dining experience, skip the thick-cut meat because it takes a lot of time to cook. Those thin-sliced meats were so good with cheese! Also, don't forget to try their sakana tofu and seafood cheeseball.

For P549 per pax, you will get the Grilling and Side dishes for unlimited without a time limit. Be sure to eat everything that you'll order because they have no leftover policy.

Premium Grilling
If you have more penny to spend, you may opt to try this option. Premium grilling includes Royale Hida Wagyu Set (P6,920), Classic Meat Platter (P1,870), Yoshi Wagyu Platter (P3,280), Meltique Striploin (P875), and Ox Tongue (P490). I know, those are expensive and aren't offer for unlimited.

Unlike other samgyup places, Yoshimeatsu has digital ordering system where you can have 3 orders at the same time. Just press the button on the monitor for your desired dish and they will come at your table after few minutes.

There's another reason to be back in Maginhawa and visit Yoshimeatsu for another meat-experience. We ate for almost two hours and we felt so full! To complete your samgyup cravings, be sure to pair it with their Lick Iced Tea. They offer all the flavors here and my fave is the Sakura.
