Wyld Bowl for Lunch | Wyld Kitchen x Bar

Looking for nightlife? Definitely, Tomas Morato will make it on the list. With bars and pubs surrounding the area, one will never have a hard time finding a perfect place there. However, if you are someone like me that doesn't really into a drinking game (like a legit Tita) and just looking for a place to hang out during lunch, then Tomas Morato is still a good option.

Wyld Kitchen x Bar is one of the places in Tomas Morato that caught my attention because of their interesting interior even before I got an invite to try this resto. The vibe has a nature theme with deer as the main character on the logo. The interior is pretty cozy but I think needs more accent like plants or vines to add a little bit of life to the plain decors.

If you are someone spending time in Timog and looking for a place to spend your lunchtime, this restaurant might be a good option as they recently launched their Wyld Bowls. Wyld Bowls are made up of soy-ginger rice and gochujang slaw topped with five different options for viands. For only P249, one will have a meal that comes with house-made camote tops iced tea.

Grilled Pineapple Beer-Brined Pork
Pork slices marinated in beer topped with 63°egg, chilean pebre sauce, fried garlic bits, and spring onion. The pork was tender and went well with the soy-garlic rice. The egg? It was perfectly cooked.

Smoked Chorizo Cataluna
Home-made special chorizo topped with 63°egg and chilean pebre sauce, fried garlic bits, and spring onion. If you are looking for a breaky meal, you should order this one.

Grilled Cajun Chicken
My favorite among all the bowls. The smokiness of the chicken was there but I think adding a bit of sauce like chimichurri would totally intense the flavor.

Mango Labuyo Glazed Chicken Wings
Expect a mild spice for the wings. This bowl matched the soy garlic rice perfectly.

Buffalo Fried Calamari
Tender squid pieces cooked with buffalo sauce. The flavor for me was good but adding more sauce as an option would work for the flavorings.

All these lunch bowls are only available at 11am to 3pm only. If you are looking for wyld flavors that could satisfy your tummy, then you should try these. For P249, the serving size is reasonable.
