New Dish: Quorn Vegan Fishless Curry | Banh Mi Kitchen

We all know that Banh Mi Kitchen offers healthy Vietnamese sandwiches with various branches across Metro Manila. In Vietnam, banh mi is basically a type of crunchy baguette filled with different ingredients such as veggies and other spreads. As part of the partnership with Quorn products, Banh Mi Kitchen introduces Quorn Vegan Fishless Curry as one of the flavors.

Just a little knowledge, Quorn is basically made up of Mycroprotein, a naturally healthy green protein that is high in fiber, low in saturated fat and calories, has zero cholesterol, and soy-free. Quorn developed different flavors as an alternative to meat, thus, claiming to be the healthier options and also helps to the vision of food sustainability.

During the event, I was part of the foodies to get the first dibs to Quorn Vegan Fishless Fingers. This sandwich has Quorn as the main ingredient drench with curry sauce, sprinkled with cilantro leaves and strips of carrots. I must say that the taste of the curry was light which I liked plus the bread was toasted and crunchy. The Quorn tasted good with the savory flavor but I think, the sandwich needed more of this. Hopefully, the would improve the quantity of the fillings.

Banh Mi Kitchen also relaunched their Lemongrass Pandan Iced Tea which is a good pair of the Quorn Vegan Fishless Curry sandwich. It was refreshingly good and best with their pearls!
