Affordable Steaks and Ribs | Chubs Chaser

When we are craving for steak, our main dilemma is it's too expensive. Little didn't we know that there's one place that serves not just affordable steak, ribs, and a lot more Western-Filipino dishes in Quezon City called Chubs Chaser.

Chubs Chaser was established by two curvy owners to bring their passion for delicious cravings to work. Their ambiance is very cozy with a wall for strong ig-gaming. You will find yourself comfortable with their laidback homey set-up. Their restaurant has a lot of food choices which I find very affordable to customers. If you are within the vicinity of Visayas Ave., don't forget to drop by and try their delectable offerings.

Here are what I loved:

Green Salad (P139)
Fresh salad with mesclun tossed in Special Chubs' balayan dressing topped with cucumber, green mango, onions, and tomatoes. I loved the freshness of every ingredient, definitely must-have before starting off the main dishes.

Nachos (P159)
The ingredients are crispy nachos topped with homemade salsa, pico de gallo, beef, red beans, black olives, and chilies. If you want something good to munch, this one is definitely a must-try.

Chicken Wings (P199)
We had different flavors: Flaming Buffalo Wings, Garlic Parmesan, Honey BBQ, and Sriracha. I love the Garlic Parmesan as always and the Sriracha one was also good since I prefer a little spice.

Sinful Sandwich (P299)
I think this one is a bit expensive but the serving is good for sharing. It has pan-seared chicken fillet, bacon, ham, sunny side up, egg, lettuce, cheese sauce, Chubs bbq sauce and aioli covered with toasted and flavorful flatbread. This entire servings also came up with pomme fries which I liked when eating a sandwich/burger.

Pesto Malunggay Pasta (P149)
I've been loving malunggay dishes ever since because of its health benefits. Good thing Chubs Chaser created one for pasta sauce. I loved the creaminess and the pesto's smell was really fresh.

T-Bone Steak (P459)
Tender meat and best cooked when medium rare! The serving is good for sharing.

Chubby Platter (P1,599)
A huge serving of t-bone, Salisbury steak, pork steak, baby back ribs, and country fried chicken which is good for 10 persons or less if you have a big appetite.

Mango Brava (P69)
Chubs Chaser also serves desserts like this Mango Brava filled with graham, mango cream, and mango. For me, it's too sweet but something to cleanse off the palette after having the strong bbq taste.

Chocnut Smores (P69)
If you love your childhood fave chocolate like chocnut, then you will drool over with this Chocnut Smores. Definitely, another must-try here!

The best thing about Chubs Chaser is that you can have meals with two options: Sexy and Chubby. If you are dining in solo, you can have their Sexy while for two or more, the option is Chubby. Everything that we tried here was worth the money that I still wanted to visit them since I'm just living nearby the area. This is one of the restaurants which is worth the money, swear!
