Rustic and Cozy Ambiance + Healthy Dishes | Manna

Instagram-worthy restaurant is the new trend today. Sometimes, we are enticed of pretty interiors, all for the gram. Upon checking one of my friend’s posts, I saw an interesting place that caught my interest to try since it’s just near my workplace. It’s like finding a hidden gem in a chaotic city.

Sitting in the vicinity of Holy Spirit Drive, Manna is a place for laid-back and casual lunch-out with friends, Sunday brunch with family, or even a date night with your significant other. The restaurant is located at the third level of the building. It is covered with high glass windows allowing natural light to come in while trees from outside serve as the background. Isn’t it lovely?

I fell in love with the restaurant’s interior design. The overall feel is very rustic yet cozy. No need to travel to Baguio or Tagaytay to experience the same atmosphere. You can also unwind in their alfresco area. It was raining when I went here so I didn’t have a decent photo of the area.

Manna has extensive menu options for diners as they mostly serve healthy dishes and drinks. They also include calorie count, carbs, protein, and fat on their food. This is because the owners are both into fitness that’s why the inspirations of their menu are mostly based on their diet. Some of their customers are mostly from the gyms nearby the area of Holy Spirit.

I tried the following based on the owner’s reco:

Wasabi Salmon Wrap (P190 for Light Bite)
If you love salmon as much as I do, you will also crave for this. The veggies are wrapped together with salmon and you have an option to upgrade to wheat wrap for only P15. I was expecting a spicy sauce for the wasabi but it was so mild and tolerable.

Pesto Chicken Salad (P190 for Light Bite)
The salad with combinations of greens, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, olives, red pepper, chicken breast, and malunggay and basil pesto. The vegetables were fresh and crisp but you need to mix them thoroughly with the sauce.

Creamy Chicken Linguini (P290 for Light Bite)
The overall taste was creamy for the sauce but I hope they add up more on the serving. I loved the chicken cut into small cubes. The light bite-size can make you full.

Beef Tapa (P180)
Aside from the healthy dishes, they also serve all-day breakfast. I so love their tapa! The meat was juicy and succulent and best to dip with spicy sinamak. You won’t feel guilty because they serve brown rice instead of white.

Manna Iced Tea (P100)
Complete your healthy meal with their refreshing taste of iced tea.

Apart from the Light Bitesize, they also other options such as Hungry and Let’s Eat which are good for sharing. They also sell different items like sinamak, chilis, Himalayan salt, cold-pressed juices, and even kombucha.

As of this writing, they have on-going promos: Unlimited Wine for P500 and Zomato Gold 1+1 on food. Be sure to reserve a seat before going here to secure your seats.

Who wouldn’t love eating in a restaurant with perfect ambiance? Definitely not me. With Manna’s perfect ambiance + healthy food, I think I found my happy place.
