Coffee, Plants, and Bali Vibes | Cafe Foliage

I'm a chaser for pretty and unique theme restos. If you know me well, I always look for a place with Instagram-worthy ambiance even when I travel. When I found out about Cafe Foliage, I didn't hesitate to pay it a visit since it's just situated near my home in Quezon City.

Cafe Foliage has a theme about coffee and plants which is uniquely similar to some of the restaurants in Bali. Obviously, the main interior design of this cafe is made up of indoor plants with different varieties like cactus, fiddle leaf fig, and ZZ plants among others. The owner's passion for plants is one of the reasons why she and her husband came up with the overall concept - a simplified environment with less design.

Cafe Foliage's menu is very simple focusing only on coffee, cakes, and smoothie bowls. I tried some of their best sellers:

Cactus Bowl Smoothie (P150)
If you are a fan of healthy and pretty bowls, you will definitely love this dish. It is composed of avocado and mango, dragonfruit, and mixed toppings. The serving size is good for one person only but still can be shared if you have a small appetite.

Cacao Plantain Bowl Smoothie (P150)
Chocolate lovers must drool over this. The ingredients are bananas, cocoa and peanut butter, and mixed toppings. Same as the Cactus Bowl flavor, this one is also a must-try here.

Red Velvet Latte (P90)
A non-coffee drinker would love this drink for its creaminess and warm taste, still perfect this rainy season.

Iced Mocha (P120)
Cafe Foliage’s coffee drinks are made from fresh Brazilian Benguet coffee beans. Their iced mocha is perfect for coffee lovers who wanted a perfectly bold strong coffee taste mixed with ice.

S'mores Latte (P120)
A coffee topped with s’ mores that no one can resist. I liked how it was sweet and bitter at the same time.

Hot Mocha (P120)
Smooth mocha taste for subtle coffee flavor.

Cheesecake (P130)
Plain cheesecake and best paired with their coffee.

Aside from their relaxing ambiance, what I loved about this cafe is the initiative to practice zero-waste management. They are using pretty reusable mugs made of marble, stainless straws, and even biodegradable boxes for take-out orders. This is just a small but a great way to help our Mother Earth to lessen the plastic pollution.

If you happen to be in the area, be sure to visit them to experience a stress-free ambiance + good coffee. Cafe Foliage deserves your attention. This pretty restaurant is situated inside Rolando’s restaurant located in Alley 33 near Visayas Avenue.
