New Milk Tea Place in Binondo | Tantea

Manila has been into a major street clean up now and that’s one of the reasons why we got to Binondo area and had a food trip there. Yey!

On a Sunday morning, my foodie friends and I visited this newly opened tea place near Binondo church named Tantea. Little did we know that they actually focused on selling different types of teas and not just a usual milk tea. If you are in the area, this is one of the places that deserve your attention.

Tantea is a brand franchised from Hong Kong. All the concepts and flavors came originally from there and brought here in the Philippines. They first started as delivery through WhatsApp then they conceptualized doing an actual store in Binondo area where food trips usually happen.

What I loved about Tantea is that they have this classy theme inside their cafe. The accent of gold, white, and neutral colors are very feminine. You will wonder if you are really in Binondo area.

Tantea tea-based flavors
To give you an idea of what they have, Tantea offers the following flavors:

Dirty Bottle Series
Bottled drinks made-up of milk, fruits, and tea.

Peach Gum Series
Peach gum is a resin of Chinese peach tree that acts as sinkers for this series. It’s jelly-like texture and goes well with fruit tea drinks.

Fruit Tea Series
This series almost has a green tea base. All of the flavors are refreshingly good with bursts of fresh fruit juices.

Panna Cotta Series
Panna cotta is a sweetened cream thickened with gelatin and shaped. This series is basically blended drinks with pannacotta topped with thick whipped cream.

Cream Cheese Series
These flavors are the highlight of our visit because they actually have a machine in which the can print anything on top of the cream cheese. Look at what we had! Aren’t they pretty? Hungryherl's logo with Sandundermyfeet and Takawtikim!

Soda Series
Beautifully curated drinks made up of soda and fruits.

Milk Tea
For this series, they only have 3 flavors namely Ruby, Pudding, and Boba Pearl.

Pudding Series
Not drinks but actually desserts. Order the Original pudding and thank me later!

Aside from the series I’ve mentioned above, they also have Creme Brulee, Oolong Tea, and Boba Yogurt flavors. They also offers yummy cakes and been planning to add pasta dishes in the future.

Exploring Binondo’s foodspots is endless. You will get to see old and new places which are worth to try like Tantea. Believe me, you'll love them too as much as I do.
