The Next Level of Milk Tea | Chawadicup

Asians love milk tea. In fact, almost all parts of the continent have their own version of this drink which became quite popular here in the Philippines. We have here flavors from Japan, Taiwan, and of course, Thailand. We can't deny the fact that milk tea stores have dominated the coffee shops industry for the over a couple of months.

Upon searching online, I stumbled upon this newest milk tea shop in Manila. The cute little store with teal and white colors for the interior is so eye-catchy! Then one day, I decided to check this place and try their milk teas. Say hello to, Chawadicup.

I didn't ask what was the name behind the brand but obviously, it's Thai. Chawadicup is located along G. Araneta so only passersby with cars can only see them. Everyone can be curious because the interior is very interesting, too cute and Instagram-worthy. The seats have cushions with separate tables for every diner.

Upon browsing the menu, I saw that they were offering a lot of flavors. I asked for the best sellers and came up with three in Chawadicup Signature. Every ingredient is imported from Thailand to ensure the best quality and authenticity of each flavor they are offering.

Bora Bora (P158)
Who wouldn't love this ombre blue tone of this drink? It looks so dreamy. I liked the taste of this one, couldn't really describe but the lychee flavor in the bottom was complimenting well with the flavors. The colors are produced from butterfly pea flower so this doesn't have artificial colors.

Cheesy Watermelon (P138)
This drink is their best seller and couldn't agree more. Surprisingly, the watermelon flavor was best with the cream cheese on top. I so loved its foamy texture.

Cha Yen (P98)
This is their version of the authentic Thai milk tea. The Thai flavor wasn't too strong, unlike the other brands I've tried before. This one was milky and creamy. You can also add pearls for added texture but, I think, it's quite pricey for P28 per serving.

Apart from the flavors I've mentioned above, I'm also eyeing other varieties such as the Jasmine Milk Tea, the Cheesy Mango, and Cold Brew Teas.

This is one of those underrated milk tea shops that deserve our attention. Hopefully, they expand more stores in the future in more visible areas or mall, perhaps. Just in case you are quite far, they also have a delivery service with a charge of P48 only. You may contact them through 0917-186-3626 or for a minimum purchase of P288 only.
