Pretty Sweet Indulgence | The Lost Bread

My first The Lost Bread experience was years ago when they first started their store in StrEAT Food Park in Maginhawa, QC. I wasn’t a food blogger back then but my curiosity to try their drinks was piqued as everyone talked about it over in social media. You know, those were the days when aesthetically pleasing food and drinks were on hype on Instagram.

Now, The Lost Bread isn’t lost at all as they currently have 9 branches to date and continue to expand more in different areas. My foodie friends and I came to visit their newest branch in SM Fairview to try their latest Chocnut flavored soft-serve ice cream and other Ig-worthy offerings.

You won’t get lost to find The Lost Bread’s concept store as they are so easy to find. Though this one is small, the pastel-theme booth has an interesting design of the neon lit wall, cushioned and stall chairs for customers, and overly pleasing aesthetics.

We all know that the The Lost Bread serves French toast and over-the-top-milkshakes but they keep on introducing new flavors for us to try.

Chocnut (Cup and Cone)
If you are a 90’s kid like me, chocnut is all part of my amazing childhood. And I am happy to know that The Lost Bread recently made soft-serve ice cream with this. Yay! We got to try both in cup and cone and my verdict? It was creamy, nutty, and sweet. The flavor of chocnut was present though I wish it could be thicker and slow-melting.

Summer Camp S’mores (Sub Zero)
Overly pretty soft-serve cup of creamy blue vanilla ice cream topped with graham crackers, chocolate syrup, and torched marshmallow. The highlight of this dessert is the liquid-nitrogen that makes it look a lot cooler (literally and figuratively)! As expected, it was way too sweet for me.

Match-O
An Overshake flavored matcha with crushed Oreos and chocolate cone shards. For me, the taste wasn’t too matcha as I was expecting a more grassy taste. Overall, this one was also sweet but kinda surprising because of the bits of Oreos present.

The Carousel
This drink dessert comes with strawberry syrup and chocnut topped with fluffy peppermint cotton candy.

Sweet Cheese French Toast Cubes
The Lost Bread’s french toast is kinda interesting because it comes with milk chocolate, white chocolate, and caramel sauce placed in syringes. The sweet cheese flavor has milk parmesan sugar. The taste? It was sweet with a hint of saltiness from the cheese.

It was a sweet experience with The Lost Bread’s desserts and drinks. Their line of flavors is very innovative and way too perfect to indulge either all by yourself or with friends. Every flavor is worth the calories.
