Korean BBQ Flavors + Premium Meats | Leann's Tea House

Timog is another food hub in QC, next to the famous Maginhawa street. This place has a lot of restaurants and cafes that cater to different food options and one of these is Kbbqs. Would you believe that I found out one place that's been underrated to many but got one of the highest reviews in Zomato? Let me share to you why.

Leann's Tea House is barely unnoticeable because of its location but once you discover this place, you would tell the world how awesome their meat selections here. At first, this restaurant looks Chinese, because of the word “tea house” on its name. They first thought of selling Korean teas but eventually diverted the business to samgyupsal since it’s been a hit nowadays.

So let me start why this place is one of the underrated kbbq places that got the top spot in my heart.

The appetizers of Leann’s Tea House varies from their kimchi, peanuts, potato salad, beansprouts, and potato salad. What really impressed me was the legit taste of their kimchi that was made fresh and moderately spice that I could savor together with the meat. Everything else was good complimentary, though.

To give the best of Leann’s Tea House experience, I got the try their CPD Premium that includes Unli Pork and Beef, Dak Galbi, Spicy Woosamgyup, Meltique Beef, Buchaesal (1 plate), and kimchi rice. For only P599, we devoured all these dishes that went together with lettuce, soup, and side dishes. They also have other options such as Unli Pork (P399) and Unli Pork & Beef (P499).

You’ll notice in my photos of how every meat looks nice. They were cut just perfectly and the marbling, that was so damn sexy. The meat that makes Leann’s Tea House exemplary is their Meltique Beef that is included in their unlimited package. Meltique Beef is a unique beef that has been artificially created by injecting the fats into red meat to enhance the flavour and tenderness. It’s true that when we grilled and tasted one, it almost melted in our mouth. And this is one of the reasons why this place is worth the pennies, not to mention the other meats that are included in overall serving.

Aside from the dishes I’ve mentioned above, we also tried some of Leann’s Tea House’ best-sellers such as Seafood Pancake, Bibimbap, and Cheese Buldak. Those three ala carte dishes are good for sharing up to 3-4 persons. I really liked almost all of them especially the Cheese Buldak with the right amount of spice and generous quality of cheese on the side.

Father’s Day Promo
Just for this Father’s Day this June 15-16, Leann’s Tea House offers the UNLIMITED WAGYU for P799. For this, you’ll get the same package in CPD Premium + wagyu beef! This is really a steal.

Traveling to Korea is pretty much expensive but in Leann’s Tea House, you will experience the legit Korean taste from their authentic and premium dishes. With all the samgyupsal places out there, this one deserves to be on the spot for serving the best for their customers. Go ahead and try it yourself.
