Affordable Japanese Cravings | Fat Ninja

We all know that fat ninja doesn’t exist but this affordable Japanese food stall does, which is named as Fat Ninja. My foodie friends and I recently tried their dishes in their newest branch in SM Fairview.

I have little to zero knowledge about this restaurant but upon reading some information online, I learned that they first existed in Seascape Village in Pasay City. This go-to restaurant sells Japanese favorites such as gyoza, katsu, and gyudon to name a few.

On the event, they served as the following:

Gyoza (Price starts at P60)
The flavors we had were Classic, Cheesy, Mentiako, Takoyaki and Curry. I admit that I’m not really a gyoza person but the takoyaki flavored one caught my interest. The bonito flakes were generously served.

Original Katsu (P120)
Deep fried pork cutlet made affordable by Fat Ninja. Their katsu was served with sauce on top which made the taste more flavorful.

Curry Katsu (P120)
Another katsu dish but this one has curry sauce on top. I liked the consistent crispiness of the katsu and curry flavor had that savory and sweet taste that matched them altogether.

Cheesy Katsu (P150)
If you are a fan of cheesy food, then you’ll also like this dish. The cheese was generously served to the portion of the whole katsu cutlet.

Katsudon (P150)
My favorite among all the dishes that were being served. For it’s price, I think it's worth it.

Gyudon (P150)
I’d like to commend the taste of this dish which had mild sweet sauce. Everyone of us loved this, actually. I think I can consume the entire serving.

If you are craving for decent Japanese cravings, but a little tight on a budget, Fat Ninja is there to satisfy your taste. This restaurant might not be as popular as any other Japanese restos out there, but I vouch for them as they serve good food for a fair price.
