Where the Hipsters Go | The Meeting Point

Poblacion is the perfect place to spend if you want to experience Makati nightlife. There are lots of hidden spots here that are waiting to be discovered. This hipster district in Makati is becoming a go-to-place to unwind, drink, party, and meet new people of different nationalities.

Since my friends and I stayed in Makati for a staycation, we checked out some cool places here on our Saturday night. We transferred from place to place like Z Hostel, the Apartment, Polilya, but we ended up in a small bar named “The Meeting Point” because it was the only place where had seats for us.

The name of the bar is so simple, and I guess, they got the idea because the spot is situated in a visible corner, perfect for meet-ups.

When I say that this bar is small, it can only accommodate a few customers like 20 people or less. But what really attracted us was their choice of music, and they also have Zomato Gold in here, so awesome!

O’Jito (P250)
Their version of mojito is made up of Jameson, lime juice, sugar syrup, mint leaves, and ginger ale. I liked it, not totally strong for my taste.

I Might (P300)
They said that it’s their best seller so we ended up getting this. It has Jameson, triple sec, orgeat syrup, lime juice, and Angostura bitters.

After staying for a few hours, we ended up getting a nice vibe. We enjoyed the company of each other, especially that their playlist here was so hyped up! Definitely, The Meeting Point is one of those underrated bars that need your attention, now!
