Sweet Childhood Memories | Dough Creamery

I could still remember the Manong Sorbetero who used to stroll along our street to sell dirty ice cream in buns. It was one of my favorite childhood summer goodies. And thanks to Dough Creamery for bringing that delicious memory back.

Located at the 2nd Floor of the North Towers, Dough Creamery’s inspiration is to reminisce our childhood favorites. Their soft-serve ice cream is made with premium milk which makes it more creamier and fancier than the usual dirty ice cream.

You can also choose your own dough whether you want Spindle, Ice Dog, or Waffle Pop. Apart from the plain one, you can also choose your flavor if you like it to be Special or Premium.

Plain (P79)

Special (99)
Chocolate, Blueberry, Ube, Cheddar, Peanut Butter, Caramel

Premium (P119)
Peanut Butter & Blueberry Jelly, Peanut Butter & Chocolate, Caramel Apple, Choco Banana

During the event, we tried two of their varieties:

This is like the usual cone but made up of fast-fried dough. However, when I tried it, I was expecting a softer like doughnut texture but it was hard to bite. We suggested doubling check the quality of each dough cone because they said that it depends on the delivery.

We tired two flavors inside: Ube and Peanut Butter in which I found the latter surprisingly good with the ice cream. The ube one was just like white chocolate with purple color.

Waffle Pop
For the waffle lovers, this one's for you! This is made up of soft classic waffle on a stick with soft-serve ice cream on the side. Just like the Spindle, you can also add flavor to this.

Aside from the two above, we also tried their refreshments. You may opt to order this if you aren’t a fan of the ice cream sandwiches.

Cream Soda
They currently have four flavors: Matcha, Black Currant, Wildberry, and Passion Fruit. Among all, I found the Passion Fruit interesting as I could easily taste its flavor. Their Matcha wasn’t too distinctive at all.

Milk Tea Floatea
Milk tea lovers, rejoice! Dough Creamery offers this one with Taiwan based tea leaves. I found this good because the tea taste was strong, though.

Dough Creamery’s concept is classic in a fancier way. Overall, the brand hits our good old memories of our childhood. Kudos to the team behind this wonderful creation!
