One Happy Morning with Buffet Breaky | Bistro

Hotel breakfast is one of the things that I usually look forward in the morning. During my stay with friends, we had the experience to dine at Bistro for their breakfast as part of complimentary in our staycation. We woke up early to catch the buffet that starts at 5:30 am up to 10:30 am.

Located on the second floor of City Garden Hotel, Bistro offers a wide array of breakfast choices where you can choose from. They are serving well-known dishes that everyone would surely enjoy on the morning.

The ambiance of Bistro is a classic theme with a semi-spacious area for dining. The tables and chairs were arranged properly but we asked ours to rearrange because we were seven in the group. The lighting was a little bit dim but when the sun was setting, the natural light was shining through the big windows that created a nice morning vibe.

Now back to the food, I checked out their dishes that had a lot of good choices. They were also arranged properly per section so everything was so organized and easy to look up to.

For the main dishes, I had a hard time choosing what to get but ended up with Garlic Buttered Mushroom, Steamed Veggies, and the Mini Sausages since I think they were the most appetizing for me.

You can also ask different egg cookings like the usual sunny side up, omelet, or just the plain scramble. I had the omelet one.

In case you like a vegetable salad in the morning, you can also prepare this. Since I didn’t feel to eat much of greens, I just took some and topped it with their caesar dressing. They also have fruits like watermelon, pineapple, and melon!

They also have bread, pastries, pancakes, and juice section where you can add to your breakfast plate. I checked this out and loved their pancakes which were so fluffy and soft which was kinda surprising.

Here’s my plate.

Aside from the choices inside the restaurant, you can also ask for ala carte menu. We tried their danggit, tuyo, and crispy bacon. The dry fishes were salty but I think, perfect to be paired with the fried rice. And the bacon, they were just perf!

As expected, Bistro’s buffet breakfast didn’t disappoint us. We left the restaurant with happy tummies, indeed. For the service, it was just okay though, but nothing exceptional. Everything was smooth and we had lotsa fun dining in.
