The Flavors of Japan | McDonald's

The Instagram-worthy sakura season of Japan is everyone’s dream destination. Who wouldn't love to see pink and pastel-colored flowers that blooms very gently? This is one of the reasons why Japan is becoming top tourist place in Asia. But visiting this place in an instant is close to impossible, that is why McDonald's brings piece of this country to the Philippines as they launched the newest Flavors of Japan!

Thanks to Gastronomida for inviting me to be part of the media launch in Frontera Verde. McDonalds Philippines offers the delectable Japanese inspired-dishes that were also made available in other restaurants across the world starting today, February 27, 2019.

EBI BURGER

I can’t resist the tempura coated shrimp patty topped with sweet sauce and lettuce sandwiched between two buns with sprinkles of black and white sesame seeds. Hint: It has real shrimps!

TERIYAKI SAMURAI BURGER

If you’re not a seafood fan, you can perhaps take a bite of this teriyaki-flavored burger. Its beef patty has teriyaki sauce, topped with mayo and lettuce, also sandwiched between two buns with sprinkles of black and white sesame seeds.

NORI SHAKE SHAKE FRIES

McDonald’s burger experience wouldn’t be complete without their World Famous Fries, flavored with sweet and salty nori bits!

STRAWBERRY SAKURA MCFLOAT

Complete the Sakura Meal with this sakura-inspired drink - the sweet strawberry and cherry taste topped with creamy vanilla sundae. Truly thirst-quenching!

The new Flavors of Japan are available for dine-in, take-out, DriveThru, and McDelivery. You can also get the Strawberry Sakura McFloat at Dessert Stations and Sundae & McFloat Stations nationwide. Selected McDonald’s branches nationwide will also get a makeover to complete your authentic Japanese experience. So watch out for these!

Sakura Set is available for limited time only. Share your experience by using the #McDonaldsFlavorsOfJapan.
